A total of 50 architects from 28 countries and five continents were nominated for the Wienerberger Brick Award 2012.

In addition to the internationally successful architectural offices Henning Larsen Architects, Mario Botta or LEDERER + RAGNARSDÓTTIR + OEI, we also find young architects (Filippo Taidelli, Avanto Architects, huggenbergerfries Architekten i.a.) demonstrating that brick can still be used to construct impressive buildings.
