Gülnaz studied civil engineering in Hannover and started her career as a technical construction advisor with Wienerberger Germany. In 2003 she moved to Italy, where she took over as Head of Technical Marketing. Gülnaz was born in Turkey, grew up in Germany and speaks five languages. Today she works for Wienerberger Italy, where she is the Sales & Marketing Director and member of the management board.
 

 

The brick branch is never boring, and you need to react quickly to the changing markets. Doing my best to meet the daily challenges and my own demands motivates me to remain on top of things. Above all, I appreciate the fact that Wienerberger gives top priority to its employees and to values like trust and a good working environment.

Tom studied electrical engineering and graduated in 1991. He gained his first work experience in operations and maintenance in a global textile group. In 1998 he joined Wienerberger - first as production manager, later on as plant manager of the tiles factory in Mouscron, Belgium. In 2008 Tom worked as a project manager and was in charge of the building of a new hollow brick plant in Rumst, Belgium. Furthermore, he coached the production team of this plant during the start-up phase. Since 2011 Tom as the Business Unit Manager is responsible for the division of hollow bricks in Belgium consisting of four hollow brick plants.

 

 

In the operations field you have the possibility to get in touch with the complete manufacturing process - from raw materials to end product, from supplier to client. One exciting part about my job is that I get to know the practical side of ceramics through discussions with the operators on the work floor as well as with specialists on process and technical issues. What I value most at Wienerberger is the fact that the progress you make in your career is supported by excellent management programs.

Andrzej studied at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He started his professional career in companies operating in the construction sector, where he built up and managed sales teams.  In 1998 Andrzej joined Wienerberger as a sales representative and after two years he was promoted to the position of Area Sales Manager for the South Poland region.

Together with his team, Wienerberger Poland reached a leading position on the local construction market through the successful introduction of innovative products and building solutions.

 

 

Working at Wienerberger is for me – on the one hand - a great satisfaction thanks to the opportunity to pursue my professional career in an international company and to cooperate with experts and highly skilled people. On the other hand, it represents a big challenge to deliver added value solutions and services in a changing environment in order to meet our customers’ expectations.
