To support our Supply Chain Management Department of Wienerberger Building Solutions, we are offering the following positions for immediate appointment: Regional Supply Chain Manager - West (f/m) Location: Londerzeel (Belgium)

Your tasks

  • Implementing the Supply Chain strategy in cooperation with relevant local and Wienerberger Building Solution stakeholders
  • Coordinating the implementation of the Digital Supply Chain projects in the relevant countries
  • Supporting the local Customer Service Manager in improving relevant KPI
  • Coordinating supply network planning projects and managing process improvement projects
  • Focusing on and optimizing the intercompany transportation costs at the required service level
  • Acting as a sparring partner for COOs and Managing Directors in customer service, logistic and supply chain topics
  • Aligning regional supply chain topics with Controlling and Product Management
  • Optimizing the supply chain within the regions and align demanded quantities between all relevant countries (supply network planning/high level material requirements planning)
  • Enabling knowledge/best practice sharing between the relevant countries
  • Development of standards and alignment with other regions
  • Determining demand of training in the relevant countries together with the local Costumer Service Manager and create training plans together with Human Resources

Your Profile

  • University degree with specialization in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Logistic Management or other relevant studies
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in managing international teams in a supply chain environment
  • Strong project and process management skills, particularly end-to-end process experience
    Customer orientation and strong relationship management skills
  • Affinity for numbers and finance paired with the ability of thinking in systems and networks
  • Well-developed ability to make decisions, negotiate and convince people
  • Basic knowledge of SAP SD and MM
  • Excellent command of English, local language is an advantage
  • Appreciation of working with multicultural teams in a cross-border matrix organization
    Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40%)
