Wall
wienerberger is the global market leader in clay blocks. These bricks form the backbone of modern buildings and are used in load-bearing exterior and interior walls, as well as in non-load-bearing partition walls or infill applications in reinforced concrete frame construction.

Brick as a robust and resilient building material
In developing our building materials and system solutions, we consistently focus on the requirements of climate change. Increasingly frequent extreme weather events such as heatwaves, storms and heavy rainfall are driving demand for climate-resilient materials, highly effective insulation systems and measures to prevent overheating. Bricks are ideally suited to meet these challenges: their long service life, excellent thermal insulation properties and high thermal storage capacity make a significant contribution to reducing the energy demand and environmental impact of buildings.
For net-zero buildings, we offer specialized products characterized by a low carbon footprint in production or high energy efficiency.
Building faster with robots
To accelerate construction processes and help address the shortage of skilled workers, wienerberger has developed Europe’s first commercial masonry robot. “WLTR” automates the bricklaying process, building walls more than three metres high at a rate of five to six square metres per hour. This enables high-quality housing to be built faster, more cost-effectively and more efficiently.
